BUSINESSES, HOSTING YOUTH AND ADULT LEAGUES, COMMUNITY FUNDRAISERS AND GROUP EVENTS, AND THEY MAINTAIN ACTIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND VARIOUS CIVIC GROUPS. THE APPLICANT AND MAIN CONTACT FOR THIS ITEM IS LAUREN CATHEY, OWNER AND MANAGER. SO HERE ARE A FEW PROJECT PHOTOS TO SUPPORT THE APPLICANT'S GRANT REQUEST. ONE WAS FOR THE PAVEMENT. AS YOU CAN SEE THERE, IT'S IN NEED OF REPAIR FOR SURE. AND THEN ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE IS THEIR GREASE TRAP. SO THEIR OVERVIEW IS THEY ARE REQUESTING DESIGN INCENTIVE GRANT ASSISTANCE TO COMPLETE. THE FIRST PORTION IS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE FOR GREASE TRAP REPLACEMENT. THE CURRENT. AS YOU SEE THERE, THE CURRENT GREASE TRAP IS OUTDATED AND NEARING END OF LIFE AND REPLACEMENT IS NEEDED TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE AND PREVENTION OF OF ADDITIONAL ISSUES. THE SECONDARY REQUEST IS FOR PAVEMENT TO REPAIR THEIR PARKING LOT, RESURFACE AND ALSO STRIPING. IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN. YES. RESTRIPING FOR ADA COMPLIANCE AND IMPROVED TRAFFIC FLOW. SO IN TOTAL, THE REQUESTS THAT THEY PRESENTED TO US ARE THEIR APPLICATIONS TOTALED $60,000. THE GRANT REQUEST FOR INFRASTRUCTURE WAS 25,000, AND THE GRANT REQUEST FOR PAVEMENT WAS 35,000. AND THE APPLICANT DOES UNDERSTAND THAT THE DC, EDC GRANTS OR ANY DC DC GRANTS FOR THE DESIGN INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAM ARE A 50% MATCHING AWARD, AND FULL FUNDING FOR THE PROJECT MUST BE SECURED FOR THE APPLICANT AND THAT, OF COURSE, IT'S A REIMBURSEMENT BASED GRANT AND FUNDING. SO THE ECONOMIC IMPACT. RED BIRD RED BIRD LANES REPORTED CURRENT ANNUAL REVENUE OF 1.1 MILLION, AND THE BUSINESS PROJECTS A 10% ANNUAL SALES GROWTH FOR EACH OF THE NEXT THREE YEARS. FOLLOWING THE PROJECT COMPLETION, THEY CURRENTLY HAVE FOUR FULL TIME STAFF AND 23 PART TIME, AND 75% OF THOSE EMPLOYEES ARE DUNCANVILLE RESIDENTS. SO THE STAFF FINDS THAT THE PROJECT DOES MEET THE GENERAL PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR DC DC FUNDING POLICY, AND WE PROVIDED TWO OPTIONS FOR APPROVAL TONIGHT. ONE, THE FIRST IS APPROVING AT THE DESIGNATED 50% MATCHING AMOUNT, WHICH WOULD TOTAL $30,000, AND THIS WOULD BE SUBJECT TO ALL THE STANDARD DC, DC INCENTIVE GRANT REQUIREMENTS. AND THEN THE SECOND OPTION IS, OF COURSE TO APPROVE A GRANT REQUEST AND ANY OTHER AMOUNT DETERMINED BY THE BOARD. ANY QUESTIONS? THANK YOU, MISS PEREZ, FOR THAT OVERVIEW. WE HAD LAST MEETING, WE HAD PRESENTED THE OVERALL SUMMARY OF ALL THE APPLICATIONS. AFTER MEETING WITH ALL THE APPLICANTS, THERE WERE A FEW THAT WERE DETERMINED TO BE INELIGIBLE, EITHER BECAUSE THEY HAD ALREADY COMPLETED THEIR PROJECT OR THEY JUST DIDN'T MEET THE REQUIREMENTS. THE FOUR COMING BEFORE YOU TONIGHT WERE ALL ELIGIBLE AND HAD SUBMITTED ALL OF THEIR REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION.

THERE IS ONE ADDITIONAL APPLICANT THAT WE'RE WORKING WITH THAT HAS A UNIQUE SITUATION. THEY WERE PREVIOUSLY AWARDED IN A PREVIOUS FISCAL YEAR. SO THEY'RE THEY'RE KIND OF UNIQUE AND WE'RE LOOKING TO SEE HOW WE CAN HELP THEM. BUT THESE ARE THE FOUR THAT WILL BE COMING BEFORE YOU FOR THIS THIS YEAR. YES, SIR. THANK YOU. SO I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE I UNDERSTOOD. SO THE PROJECT THAT WAS PRESENTED WAS INFRASTRUCTURE REQUESTED 25,000 AND PAVEMENT OF 35. YES. OKAY. BUT THEN. THE RECOMMENDATION WAS JUST WAS 30 FOR THE BOTH.

AND SO FOR THE PAVEMENT GRANTS, AND MAYBE I MIGHT HAVE AN OUTSTANDING AN OUTDATED DOCUMENT. SO THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT THAT WE CAN GIVE IS WE CAN GIVE. 25 NO. YES. FOR THE THE GUIDELINES. YES.
