AND HE'S GOING TO BE ASSISTING US WITH BRINGING THEM HERE FORWARD IN THE NEAR FUTURE, SPECIFICALLY, THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT POLICY. SOME OF THE STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE GRANT STRUCTURE. NEW STRUCTURE, IF YOU WILL, BASED OFF OF THE DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE THAT WE RECEIVED FROM YOU A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, AND WE ARE ALSO GOING TO BE IN THE COMING WEEKS, PRESENTING TO YOU THE BYLAWS AND PROCUREMENT. THERE WAS A STATISTIC THROWN AROUND THAT EVERY DAY THERE'S ABOUT 400 INDIVIDUALS MOVING TO THE DFW AREA. THEY'RE JUST SEEING AN EXTENSIVE AMOUNT OF GROWTH IN THIS AREA, AND THEY COULDN'T EMPHASIZE ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF CITY COUNCILS, ELECTED OFFICIALS, COLLABORATING WITH THE VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE'S CLEAR ON THE VISIONS. EVERYONE IS CLEAR ON THEIR EACH RESPECTIVE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES, AND THAT THE ENTITLEMENT PROCESS IS CRUCIAL TO BE STREAMLINED AND VERY TRANSPARENT.
